Thank you for taking a look at my website. My name is Ken General. I was born in 1983 on an island in the South Pacific and some how hopscotch-ed my way to the Hoosier State of Indiana (and quite recently have been calling Houston, Texas my home).
I received my BFA in Printmaking and BA in Art History from Indiana University. I am a young creative, constantly defining and redefining myself as an artist. My varied interests and talents lead me to an olio of projects and collaborations. As you may have noticed besides being an artist I direct an independent publishing group and freelance as a graphic designer. I do my best to support my fellow creatives with my publishing and design efforts. I love to partner with other creatives who can match my energy and professionalism to create new and exciting events especially ones that are art related and purposed to better the community through fun, inspiration, and education.
With my move to Texas. I will also start my pursuit for a Master's degree in Art Education or Museum Studies to accomplish my greater goal of becoming an Education/Gallery Director at a fine arts organization to help revolutionize the art experience for the ever-changing 21st Century.
Thanks again for the kind visit. Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, project proposals, or even just to say- hi. I promise I will do my best to respond back in a timely manner.
Bests,
Ken General |
